Won't happen! B. Haynes is scared to death to make a decision! Buddy gives her weekly orders and she follows them. Buddy has more juice then Dan Yorke. For at least the last 5 yrs Dan was the power talent at Pro. Not anymore. My guess is WPRO will have even greater problems. Why, because the kids are running the school.

Power Bluffing. Does that answer your question? See, no body Bluffs better then Buddy. The Buddy Cianci Show isn't on the radio, it's his life. Let me give you an example; 3 months ago. An 85 year old woman wrote a negative letter about Buddy in the Providence J. For weeks Buddy spoke of her backround and of a ' lawsuit'. Lawsuit never happened. The 'Bluff' did. Buddy is a master at illusion. He sometimes 'hangs' and has hung out with Mafia members. Because of that, actual Law Enforcement members think he's 'connencted'. He's not. But he will pretend he 'maybe'. Buddy put people into positions were they 'had' to be friendly with him.. He was a great 'promiser' of everything. A great Actor. .
So, when you come off as a mild Gangster and you are a master of illusion and the art of Bluffing, you become the Man behind the Curtian, Buddy Spanky Cianci.
You should have seen him in that Court room, no bluffing there, no illusions. Just the real Spanky. Hope that answers your question.

Of course Buddy was bluffing! You think for one second he'd want to be cross examined? For $100 bucks you can sue anyone, but don't forget the defendant gets to question you. B.Haynes may not want to make a decision but that won't stop the powers that be at Citadel from forcing one on her. I think we're seeing that no one in the market is safe if they higher-ups mandate that they're gone. So maybe she doesn't make the decision but if someone else forces it on her, does she try to protect anyone from getting canned or just go along with it. Maybe she'd rather it gets forced on her. It absolves her from making any decision. I'd guess if anyone were to get the heave-ho it would be DePetro unless his numbers are stellar.

Farid is the person that tells Haynes how it is. I've been told as of tonight, Farid knows NOTHING about Depetro and St Peirre. Nothing about Depetro and the Ratings scandal. He hasn't been to WPRO since October.
If someone were to e mail him all the Newspaper accounts of the insanity at WPRO, Mrs Haynes would lose her job.

Compared to the ratings flap this is minor in terms of reason to terminate and since JDP's wife took the rap for the Arbitron thing, that's also a dead issue. Usually if they want you out they will eventually find a way but they have to tread cautiously. The best way is your general downsizing/cost cutting type layoff that says "it isn't you...it's us". I can't help but think someone somewhere is keeping track of all this.
