That would seriously upset the conventional wisdom, wouldn't it? ;D You listen to them, too? Where do you live?Tibbs2 said:What IF WKOM comes in #1?
If you are listening to a stream or your HD Zune (doesn anyone actually have one of these) with headphones Arbitron can provide a special piece that attaches to allow for it to be metered. In the case of the cab ride if you were wearing the pimped out headphones only that would get credit. Internet streams will only get credit (applied to parent signal) if the simulcast is 100% of what is going out over the air.DToTheJ said:By the way, last time I was in Nashville, the cab driver in the taxi I was in had the local public radio station on. So I suppose instances like that will be picked up by a PPM meter. But what if you bring your own Walkman with you and choose your own station to combat what's playing in the cab? Will two stations get credit in the PPM?

NashvilleNative said:Not really a form of judging ratings, but have you checked the facebook fan pages? WRVW (19,106) and Magic 98.5 (7,784) are pulling some incredible numbers. The party is decent at 2,920; i106 (840) and RQQ (393), not so much. 94.7 (3,865) is beating both the Wolf (1,875) and KDF (2,949). A lot of that really depends on the demographic really, but worth checking out if nothing better to do.
Oh yeah, Mix is at 4,239.
