TERRIBLE Kars for kids spot

is the terrible annoying Kars 4 Kids spot an actual commercial or is it a PSA?

If they are a charity then this should be a PSA, which stations could STOP PLAYING any time they want to.

If it is a paid spot, then I wonder how much of the donated money is going to the "Kids" and how much is going to media buys.

While we're on the subject of PSAs, have you heard the new one starring OneRepublic with the kids heartbeats? I'm getting REALLY annoyed with that one (you hear it a lot on WCPT's web stream.)

I can just imagine how their drummer must feel.....

You should see what some charities pay for radio advertisements. Kind of shakes your faith.

It's always wise to check out a charity - especially to see how they spend their money. Guidestar.org is also valuable -- it lets you know how much of their proceeds actually go to the mission vs. administrative costs. Best chartities will spend less than 10% on administration.
