I hope it is a joke. Terry is a good guy and is pure radio through and through. Even more sad is, there's really not much in the way of local talent to replace him and I don't mean just Louisville talent. I mean non-syndicated talent, no matter where they come from. It seems most radio companies have been more concerned with bottom lines and less about talent development. They got rid of all the part-timers in the biz, thus cutting off the entry level for young radio prospects. Radio is finding itself in quite a predicament with a dwindling talent pool. Where will the next Gary Burbank or Terry Meiners come from? I guess you can just syndicate Bubba the Love Sponge and get fart jokes all morning.
