I didn't hear it either, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
- When David Paul was on WSB years ago he had had very little radio experience. He was a former listener to a Florida talk show that had called in and dared to be put on the air. That was a LONG time ago and DP was younger, brasher and had less sense and more audacity than he has today.
- He's been off the air for over a decade. That will make ANYONE rusty, especially someone who - while good during his BRIEF stint at WSB - was far from a pro.
- According to all I've heard here, he's a born-again Christian (which, by the way, I don't bash, since I'm of the same faith). But the point is, if his ideals have truly changed that much over the years, then he would most likely feel a little (a lot?) less comfortable in an edgy, on-air atmosphere.
No matter what he ends up doing, I wish him luck. Sorry I missed his brief stint on the air though.
