The Bull about 101.7

Word has it WKLB has pulled the plug on Sunday Morning Country Oldies and Stu Fink has been sent packing. The link to the show's page on Country 102.5's website returns a 404 error. Peashooter or not, The Bull is making GM react.

They tried the whole younger demos talk radio thing on a San Diego FM for about year. It failed. Station flipped to Rap/R&B. They are trying it again currently in Sacramento. Jury is still out.

I live in SD. CC did the FM as badly as they do KOGO (which is a complete shame) and the FM was dead on arrival.

Your 101.7 and 102.5 listeners, at least some of them, raising their Red Solo Cups (ok that was Toby Keith) and partying, hic!

>>"“This was our worst night that I know of this year,” Dentino said. “This one just exploded and exploded early. The country fans of yesterday aren’t the country fans of today, who are predominantly 17 to 28 and female. The primary reason for them going there is to party and secondary to that is to listen to the music.”
