The Bull Debuts at Noon Today

So would this change have happened if the Fish never existed? People discount the AC format because it has family friendly lyrics on 104.7 but it is obvious that they are going after the same audience that B and Lite target. All 3 AC's had to share audience within the number one advertising demo.

It looks like the plan is to keep playing Christmas music for the rest of the week and promote the new country format which will begin for keeps on the 26th.

Steve Goss just promoted a Val Lorenzo program that starts at noon. Is this a mix up and on tape or did CC decide to delay country.

According to Goss Christmas music continues at Noon with the Lite Lunch. maybe we were dead wrong on this one?

Ps you beat me to it Rick

Goss is voice tracked. The lite lunch and Lorenzo mentions were recorded before the 11am meeting.

What? A CC station is voice tracking? Say it ain't so.....

More evidence that Clear Channel is so stupid. they botched Cool's switch to Viva, and appear to be botching this one thanks to stupid voice tracking. makes me want to throw my radio across the room against the wall so it smashes and explodes.

anybody notice they blew the debut? First half of the Alan Jackson played under the opening.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Randy & Sfiff, Jessica, Steve, and al of the others that have to go home and tell their families that they're out of a job a week before Christmas. :'(

We're still waiting for all the meetings to end so we can get the whole story. We can't get close to the studio for tripping on all the peanut shells. Maybe they'll throw in a Christmas tune or two on Monday... whatever. Alan Jackson and Sugarland to "kick" things off. So I guess we can stop talking about it now. Deal is done.

This pretty much proves that the Building of Death is filled with blockheads. Flipping to Country a week before christmas...and it could have been done with Country Christmas music. How stupid! I bet the phone lines are buzzing over there.

What about the advertisers. I see some lawsuits coming as well. Talk about screwing them over the week before Christmas.

Are you listening? I don't have a radio here in my cave but looking at the website, (if it's correct), after the first two songs they've played nothing but Christmas stuff.
