THE CHANGE AT THE CASA

Regardless what they do, they aren't going to make much of a dent.

Take a look at what they have done (Liberman) in LA and Houston. Great returns on small investments.

By the way market #13 126 stations are you including TV LP non-coms, simulcasts, walkie talkies, CB radios

No, just licenced AM and FM stations, no TV, no low power. 126 stations are licensed to market 13.

.....20 years.........what you are talking about is a heritage station.

Hardly heritage. First, the audience has rolled over at least once in those 20 years and is well on its way to the third time. And the station has moved from all music and automated part of the day to non-sop "morning shows" with generally no more than 4 to 5 songs an hour 24/7 over that 20 years.

And your right sometimes it happens but since they have a TV station they are marketing themselves and that makes my point. That being said Libermans' talent isn't all that good. They treat their people like crap and they really won't do much in the market.

Look at La Raza in Houston... or Que Buena in LA. The LA station billed $30 million last year.

Liberman treats you well if you deliver... and Lenard is probably one of the brightest people in broadcasting.

By the way Dallas has 92 if you are counting everything that is broadcasting any kind of signal. So that doesn't matter.

The 10 County metro has 82 licensed AM and FM stations, not including low power or TV.

Ok LA is a $1 billion market and based on a 1 to 1 power ratio he is doing close to what should be . Actually with all his properties he should have done more than $41m. So grant it $30m to you and I is alot of torta's but when you analyze his performance on a business level it is still underperforming.
