The CW Affiliate Apocalypse of 2016

Not sure what's on top outside of network programming on KDNL these days. I remember a few years ago that their 10 PM programming beat KTVI's 10 PM news. It was bad enough KTVI was rumored to have offered to produce news for KDNL and air 3rd rate reruns at 10 PM just to get a bigger piece of the pie at 10. Obviously, KDNL's 10 PM success didn't last very long as it has been running prerecorded news from KSDK for a little over two years now. I seem to remember KTVI putting its 10 PM news on hiatus for a brief period before repackaging it as "Fox 2 News Edge" as a response to such a pathetic showing.

or maybe prerecorded news from KSDK is cheaper than a sitcom rerun, whatever was beating KTVI at 10PM must have been too expensive for $inclair
