Working one door over from good ol' WGOC, I tend to hear that Jones Network quite a bit. Not only do they go PAST 1989, they near 2000. I hear George Strait's Write This Down (1999) quite a bit and even some 90's Toby Keith. But once again, I believe that is a good thing. Neither Strait or Keith are POP Country, like Shania Twain or Rascal Flatts. And where, may I ask, did i say ANYTHING about WGOC and Rascal Flatts? As far as I know, WGOC has never allowed that crap over their airwaves and hopefully they never will. On a side note, the person before MadDog referred to Shania as once being Country. Well, you are right in a sense. She was never totally country but she was far closer than she is now. But this is the same for many, many artists, such as Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, heck even Rascal Flatts was closer to country when they started. That's why I thank God for artists such as Josh Turner, Trent Willmon and Shooter Jennings. We know Shooter will never sell out but let's hope Turner and Willmon don't either.
