The East Valley Radio Network

Besides, isn't this a radio board, not a geography or zip code or area code debate?. :D

Sorry to start this. The East Valley/West Valley thing has always interested me. I used to belong to a dinner club. I usually was the only person (out of 25+ people) to come from the West. The restaurants were either in Phoenix or on the East side. Most guests didn't think there was anything to do out here.

I hope this EVRN will work.

You grew up just down the street from me.

Scary.

But I was in PHX.

I was in 85018 too.

Sounds like you went to Arcadia.

Great school.

Actually tougher than most my college classes.

But money talks so they sold it and started a new HS in ultra rich N. Snottsdale.

Today's McRepublic biz section had a piece on the show:

http://www.azcentral.com/business/articles/0106biz-mr-talkshow0106.html

The print version also had a photo, under which the caption typoed KAZG
as "KAGZ." The story had the calls correct, but referred to KAZG Scottsdale
as "Mesa-based." Does the lumberyard know it's been moved? ;D

This probably already appeared--as was footnoted--in a community section
in December and was not reviewed for its re-release, as it stated the Big 1440
was on the air from 6:00am to 5:15pm. That is now 5:45pm in January (but
not a minute longer, since the lamp timer doesn't get along with the 52-watt
"night light").

Apparently the 3:00-5:00pm timeslot has morphed into 3:00 to 5:45 (January sign-off time), or at least that's what I heard on-air.

But if George of the Jungle has to "watch out for that tree," then Scott Anderson needs to "watch out for the lamp timer in the lumberyard" as it killed the carrier--and his wrap up in mid-sentence--at 5:41:35 today.

EVRN- great concept! Looking forward to hearing more.

Gerard Redcoats will will this game! We will fight for school and fame. Victory's going to be our aim. Our goals are high and victory's our cry. Oh Red and Grey will fight all the way. Red and Grey are here to stay. Gerard Redcoats will win this game. Gerard Redcoats fight on!

Liz, of course now you will be expected to sing the fight song
(with the mic open) sometime between 6 and 10am this Saturday. ;D

But I still can't figure out the "top 94 countdown" theme I thought
I heard a promo for yesterday. Even if only ten songs per hour,
that'll take only 9.45 hours to blow through. So at 3:30pm Saturday
do you start over and play the "same 94 songs" again?

Geez, I'd hoped I wouldn't have to hear Unchained Melody at all
this weekend...now it could be two or three times! ;)
