The End is near?

Wait, and the last time you actually worked for a radio station, Timmy -- I mean Major -- was -- oh yeah, never. Right?

Ahh, whom?

Raizin,

I've noticed a pattern of people not replying for some reason when you post, so I thought I'd take the time to do so.

First off I checked out your post below about this new show your pitching and I wish you the best of luck. The Monkey is not my cup of tea, so I'm sorry to say I never once heard you on the air, but I definitely admire your passion despite the state of the radio industry nowadays.

As for the end, there is no way Entercom will be hiring any out of town shows going forward. One of 3 things will happen to the End....

1. They will stay the course with Adam and Lazlo as the main draws (if you can call them that) and continue to automate middays and possibly nights as well unless this Jordan chick works out. Then they can pay her 10 bucks an hour, knowing they have someone that end listeners are somewhat familiar with.

2. They will realize Lazlo's not the answer, maybe give Marco Collins a call and then see if they can round up some jocks from the end's glory days and give it 1 year, 18 months max to get things heading in the right direction

3. They will flip format

I can see any of the 3 happening. It's just up to Entercom to decide if this format still has life, and whether or not Lazlo is the one to get it off of life support.

Why is it when a station goes in the dumper that the Rx is commonly that they need to bring someone back?

Word is that Marco is back in town and could be on the airwaves at some point soon...

See my earlier posts on this topic oh and while you're at it check out my post in the "I can't take no more" threqad, THIS is what will save the End.
As much as I like Raizin and his old show from the Monkey the LAST thing the end needs is a clone of it on their airwaves.
BTW Raizin tell Jen I said hi! didn't know she was working in traffic & on your new show too!
