His daily topics are juvenile/inane/boring, and I flip off the radio when he comes on most days.

But I generally flip the channel when Corby is on, except when they do the Bass Brothers segment. Once in a while, I find the topics and comments amusing. But that's an exception, rather than the rule.
I'm not a big Corby fan, either. I typically like things with a little more entertainment value (I used to like the old Eddie and Tracy show on 700 WLW). But when I do listen (usually when something is going on with the Buckeyes), I really find myself enjoying the sound of Corby's voice. I also appreciate the fact that we still have a local program in that time slot as opposed to being tortured with Sean Hannity.

Who will you miss more?
Andrea Cambern -- 68 percent
Bob Conners -- 32 percent
October brought the announced retirements of two of Central Ohio's media icons -- Conners, the Morning Monarch of radio for four decades, and Cambern, 10TV's news anchor for 18 years.
But in a battle of who will be missed more, well, Conners never had a chance, as radio personalities haven't enjoyed the same kind of iconic status as television personalities since Orwell convinced people to hide in their basements from extraterrestrial germaphobes.
One clever reader seized upon the opportunity to comment on Cambern's wispy build: " @#!*% , you can miss Andrea if she turns sideways."
Others decided to honor their own Gone But Not Forgottens, suggesting, among others, Jim Tressel and Andyman.

Time to end the complaining about it.
Agreed. People in Miami didn't care that talk legend Neil "God" Rogers did his show from Ontario, Canada for much of his last decade on the air. He was still deeply revered, and VERY highly-rated.
antares said:When I was in high school I met him briefly at a function, and thought he was a bit stand-offish, but in listening to him over the years he seems to be a bit more mellow, so I am hoping that was just an off day for him, and I still wish him nothing but the best.
