Semisonic did that song, if memory serves. (Yes, I know....VERY late to the party. When you take a weekend getaway, that will happen.)It was good of them to go with a band from Buffalo. Otherwise, why not just end with DMB's Closing time?![]()

Thanks! It won't let me edit that. You are correct and I am surprised at myself for making that mistake.
Closing time by Semisonic is indeed what I meant to say.
Arguing that there is no God would be like arguing there is no Spiderman. Not a tough argument.
When a call letter change is tied to a sale, the date is only the expected time of going into effect. If the sale closing gets delayed, the call change is not yet active. So until the notice of consummation is granted by the FCC, 102.5 is still legally WTSS.EMF moved the calls from 89.9 today to 102.5fm, so 102.5 is WBKV and 89.9 became WBWA for Air one. Not sure what is actually airing on both signals right now.
Burying WGR on HD4 renders it virtually unlistenable…As of 12:45pm, nothing was being aired at 102.5FM. The transmitter was off. Nothing but static on the frequency. I’ll be checking in later to hear if K-Love is being launched today. I have an HD radio. Interestingly, WKSE is operating four HD channels at 98.5. HD-1 is Kiss. HD-2 is The Wolf. HD-3 is WBEN. And HD-4 is WGR.
This is the only way for them to feed 104.7 and have AM HD Simulcasts, no other signal will cover the market as well as WKSE.I have an HD radio. Interestingly, WKSE is operating four HD channels at 98.5. HD-1 is Kiss. HD-2 is The Wolf. HD-3 is WBEN. And HD-4 is WGR.
102.5 is no longer broadcasting in HD. FM only. For now, both frequencies are simulcasting K-Love. At some point, 89.9 will broadcast a related contemporary Christian music format called Air1.Did they swap the HD Yet on 102.5? What is on 89.9?
Indeed, the HD-4 signal sounds like an audio stream from the dawn of the Internet age. I’d rather listen to WGR on AM than that. I now understand why Audacy placed The Wolf on HD-2. But they might as well have dropped WGR from its HD line-up rather than shoehorning it in like this.Burying WGR on HD4 renders it virtually unlistenable…
Thanks for Confirming! It will be interesting to see the HD lineup on 102.5 when it comes. EMF is aggressive with HD2+102.5 is no longer broadcasting in HD. FM only. Yes, I listened to HD4 for about 5 minutes, and could not take it anymore, switched to AM and it sounded 100% better. Never thought I'd say that.Indeed, the HD-4 signal sounds like an audio stream from the dawn of the Internet age. I’d rather listen to WGR on AM than that. A third party site unaffiliated with Audacy that is or is not a legitimate stream...I am a bit confused. What is this Online link currently?
WTSS Star 102.5 FM (it's playing "Star" music, but it's not Star 96.1)
