The Lite goes out @ 99.3 FM

Were you also joking about Lou Brown? I think he'd sound good on a big market AC!

I remember Lou Brown. He was at B94 back in the 90's when he was doing middays and the "All Request Power Hour" as well as "Rhythm 94.3" where he was doing afternoon drive until 2001 except he was at "Cool 94.3" doing middays again until 2002 where he ended up at Lite-FM down the dial at 92.1.

I too remember Lou Brown from the old B-94 days when the Maxwell's owned it. I think he's got a great voice. My post was all just in fun. 2006 was a rather interesting year in Hudson Valley radio. Hopefully 2007 will bring positive changes to the area.

Changes at WRWD-AM 1370

Speaking of the stunting of Country Christmas music which is at 99.3, do you know what is going on at WRWD-AM 1370? Are they going to have a format change, or maybe if they could do a simulcast of WGHQ News/Talk 920 after Christmas? Will find out!

Lou Brown is a great guy and comsummate Broadcast professional.I worked with him over at 98FaMe in the 80's; it was I that gave him the nickname "Downtown Lou Brown"!! :)

Let's give Disney a shred of credibility here for a second. Suppose some of the talent from CBS-FM comes up to work at 92.9 (not that cool), which is doubly impossible since 92.9 is being taken over by Pamal, and it's gone any way for all intents and purposes. Does anyone remember the last time somebody came up from CBS to work in the HV?

They took Miller out of the morning slot at sleazy-x, and put Max Kinkle on morning drive. He lasted 2 weeks, they fired him and put Miller back on Mornng drive. Everyone was giddy to see a CBS-FM jock on sleazy, turns out he had just been fired by CBS also. Another Blunder brought to you by the fine folks at Pendell Rd.
Smooth move, Ex-lax.....

That was a great post, HV....ROTFLMAO... ;D

Anyone have any more predictions for 2007, real or otherwise....
