That's very perceptive of you. I can't really add much more to that than to agree wholeheartedly. YES - I know 'KISS-FM' in JAX very well. 'APE' is the heritage and 'KISS' is the wannabe although I do admit that when I travel up there (several times a year) I do listen to 'KISS'. The're more urban-sounding as a CHR than 'APE' which is more rock-leaning. 'KISS' is actually posting some pretty respectable overall ratings, but the relocation of their transmitter further north closer to the main populace helped out a lot.
I'm not particularly a fan of WILD. I think if I lived in The Palm Beaches I would still listen to Y-100.7. When I drive northward I stick with Y-100.7 for as far as I can go before losing its signal completely just north of the Jupiter area. Occasionally the signal can hang on towards Ft. Pierce.
