Try the 'rotating polls'idea, just to have more titles available for votes.

Until they're put in that format, and since somebody beat to the punch with 'Cheers', I'll cheat a bit, and say the closing theme for 'Frasier'("Tossed SAL-ads and scram-bled eeegggs...THANK YOU, SEATTLE!");-)

I'd go for the rotating polls. Also, I don't think anyone's mentioned Match Game (70's - early 80's) yet.

Not sure if these were mentioned

Laverne and Shirley

Friends

Seinfeld

Monday Night Football

I don't know, sounds to me like CBS took the
"WWV Theme" and sped it up a bit.

Maybe a plagarism suit in the offing?

"My Sweet Lord..."
"He's So Fine..."

;-)

I would counter that the John Williams composed, Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Superman inspired "The Mission" for NBC might be the more familiar news theme. But then "The Mission" was never morphed into the "World News Polka"!

"It's late at night, you're wide awake
And you're not wearing pants.
So grab your World News Now mug
And everybody dance!"<P ID="signature">______________
"Radio is like musical chairs. When the music stops, I sit down and say something."</P>
