OK...So why's nobody talking about the announced plans by Cit to change 99.1 and 99.3? ???

Is this the big 98.7 upgrade? Or are we finally going to be able to actually hear without all the static the sportstalk on FM???

Could it be that they're just shoving those two out of the way? To then pop up with the big Knoxville signal they've promised their advertisers for The Big/Little Talker? ::)

So what's the real story??? :-X Somebody out there knows! Heck, they even talked about it on the air on the Spots Animal! What's the deal??

Did not hear this. Probably because it was on one of the smaller Citadel stations. If it's what you say, it may slow the bleeding.
 
NewsTalk 99: one notch away from 100. Citadel: a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
 
Swapping two little talkers for one medium little talker is that the fix??? No the advertiser lost over 40% of their audience and the spot rate stayed the same. How long do you think that dog will hunt?
Citadel promised a fix in less that 4 to 6 months. Get on with it. The problem is there is no fix.
 
The other thread had Johnny as Chuck Norris. This thread maybe should be a similar discussion of the lack of intelligence at Citadel. I'll start:

Farid Suleman’s days or abusing Citadel and its shareholders may be coming to an end. There was a story on this site where on of the creditors/shareholders of Citadel “blocked his big share bonus”.

There was a mention of bankruptcy fraud. Those are strong words to use and could be used in a lawsuit unless you have the facts to back them up. I do not know who R2 is but apparently they are not going to be taken for a ride.

Really? Bankruptcy fraud? I have not been following Citadel's problems, other than what is happening with their stations in this market, but I think bankruptcy fraud is a criminal matter. Somebody chime in here, is it criminal, or civil?
This controversy doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.
Arbitrends are due Friday, but this site says Knoxville is embargoed.

I thought embargo is what happened to Castro and Cuba in the 60's.

The biggest story this year was the whole Johnny/Citadel thing and Old Kingston Pike's fight to get people to think it's still what it used to be.

Ok, here's the skinny: Citadel is going to give WIVK to me. Tax purposes, don'cha know. Everybody wins. Especially me.

Gonna use the employee discount at WalMart to get office supplies and such.
