the point to flip?

It's a typical COX run radio station. Over consulted/Programmed, very short playlist and lots and lots of repetition of songs. Listen on Monday, hear it again on Wednesday.

Between The Point or K-Hits, I don't know which one I don't listen to more. As for K-Hits, they can change calls, liners and monikers all they want. They still play the Oldies and they still play the same 200 songs over and over and over until you just want to scream. Classic Hits (Oldies with a fancy name) is a perfect format to let it all hang out. There are tons of songs that were heard on the radios of the 60's and 70's that someone out there will say "Wow, I haven't heard that song in decades!" and that one person is one more listener captured to listen for another one. Consultants are over consulting Oldies formats. The main problem for oldies and classic hits stations are the demographics of the listening audience. But if done right, one could get someone of any age to buy anything.
