I think that the Buzz will gain some ground, but won't jump to the top of the heap immediatly. I've been impressed that QWK has been able to retain some personality. Valeri is still Valeri, Troy is still Troy. When compared to Rocky in Altoona, QWK stands out, especially when you consider that the two stations use the same library, with the same music in the same categories and probably the same clocks. With Tommy Edwards the notable exception, Rocky just sort of lays there.
I have always enjoyed the Buzz. For me, the music is mostly on target. I'd hate for them to drift too far toward core rock material. Chris & Jim are a big improvement over Laura Mack. I've said before, Jill Gleeson is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I think once they get moved into State College, market themselves more aggressively, and improve that city grade signal, they'll begin to show big improvements.
