The "River" auditions morning hosts!

Hmmmm..... Rock 100.5 had a 1.0 share 25-54 for July, True Oldies had a 1.7 share, River had a 5.6 for July - what ratings to show for it? By my count River has 2x the other 2 - combined.

Latest trends 12+ have Rock 100.5 and True Oldies each with 2.0, and River at 4.0 (down from the 5's). I know 12+ isn't the money demo that 25-54 is, but someone's changing the dial...even if it is at both ends (probably the young end for Rock 100.5 and the old end for True Oldies).

Seriously--how has River trended in 25-54 since Rock 100.5 and True Oldies flipped on? I'd find it hard to believe that there was NO attrition to these two stations, even in 25-54.

Interesting. What about actual share numbers (not rank)? If those hold up kudos to Cox.

If Arbitron wanted complete numbers to be posted, they would allow Radio-info and other trades to post all the demos and numbers - they don't and as you have noticed Radio-Info deletes copyrighted material, so not much can be said.

Let me just say that the River had a 4.5 in the Fall and a 4.8 in July.

You mean you actually have to show up to get paid?

I guess that does bring up the point if you don't show up, does that mean you quit or your services were terminated?

That's just one of many rumors or speculations just like the reasons Steve & Vicki "left" Star and Leslie Fram was "let go" and Cindy from Star wasn't really "drunk" when she got nabbed for a DUI. It's radio, always interesting but we never get the real story.
