"The Voice of Arizona"? um...no...not the "voice of Arizona"

I'd say KTAR has phoned it in, but we know they don't bother with phones anymore. Maybe they just tweet it in, e-mail it in... facebook it in. I don't know. They have absolutely given up on quality and it shows.

We're expected to be impressed that 92.3 can attract a better demo ONLY 1 OR 2 DAYS OF THE WEEK when they're round-the-clock Cards coverage yet can't be bothered to "break" any news except for when -- oh, look! breaking news only during Dumb & Dumber's shift-! (No breaking news after 7pm or on the weekend.) In other words, "Oh, we don't care KFYI gets better monthly numbers - we still kinda-sorta rule some of the books so who cares we're not a 'real' talk radio station anymore?" I don't see how it's a rational, logical business decision to deliberately suppress or write-off inferior numbers for sake of some good numbers only 1 or 2 days of the week. That's asinine programming policy: "breaking news" only part of the day on selected weekdays only, the Voice of Ramsey (does he live here, too?) weeknights, and the Voice of Cardinals on Sunday - the only day that really matters because, again, they'll write off the rest of the week just for them. Terrible way to run a for-profit business: Bonneville is...um, still for-profit, aren't they?

Cardinals bring in the listeners on Sundays, but the rest of the week, they need to improve their talk line-up (minus the Lovable One!). The best thing going in my opinion is Arizona's morning news with Detour Dan. The rest I could do without.

Not to worry. The good doc is just rattled because he just learned that repair parts for the '76 Gremlin must be ordered from "HonestIvanCarsandMissles.com" in Sofia, Bulczechaslovakia.
