I'm surprised the Cologuard ads with people singing about getting their tests to the tune of My Way hasn't been brought up yet.
These ads are annoying. Big time.I'm surprised the Cologuard ads with people singing about getting their tests to the tune of My Way hasn't been brought up yet.
Mando is made by Lume. I saw it a few weeks ago but didn't mention it because it isn't as bad as the Lume commercialOh my goodness! While watching TV last night, the same lady from the Lume deodorant commercial is in a similar commercial for Mando deodorant.
They make me miss the dumb-to-the-nth-degree Paul Giamatti/Cecily Strong "Einstein" ad of earlier this year.Verizon's Christmas ads are a disaster. Irritating. Instant mute-worthy.
They're not supposed to sound like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. They're playing typical neighborhood carolers, more enthusiastic than talented. They are actors, acting. Ethnic/racial diversity was likely a factor in the final casting, as that's become a factor in just about all TV advertising. The Oak Street Health ad with that supposedly famous old man continues to annoy. It runs incessantly on all of the channels that are carried on the TV station that I work for and I find myself sitting in my engineering office with the sound down. I want to watch stuff and monitor our air signal but I just can't stand to hear that commerical.
For channels that I don't work for, the commerical from Verizon with the off-key unappealing Christmas carolers showing up at a couples house to remind the wife that the husband wants an iPhone 15 Pro is the trigger commercial for me.
1- You are an adult. Buy your own phone
2- The carolers are awful. Especially the woman who is leading the group. She's pretty set now that she has a national commerical but if I was casting a commercial she would be an automatic no.
Psychic commercials.
The California Psychos, er Psychics ads are still around, which is bad enough. Are there too few current irritating commercials that we have to go back nearly 30 years to add to this thread? An ancient gum commercial? The old Psychic Sucker Line? Come on, man ...
