They preempted that for this?

I'm watching the Jeopardy! GOAT rerun now and WABC is showing Match 3, Game 1, so they are airing at least Jeopardy! on a one-day delay, meaning that Ken's last show will air on Saturday.
Well, that's not confirmed, since the listings don't match up with the delay for this week. J! has two airings this weekend on WABC: Saturday at 7:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM. One will be the Friday episode (rerun of Ken's last game) and the other will be a random 2018-19 season rerun as usual. Wheel also has two airings, but they're both on Saturday: at 1:00 and 7:30. I have a feeling both shows will keep their "order", meaning that Saturday at 7:00 will be J!'s "Friday" show but Wheel's "Saturday" show, with Wheel's "Friday" show at 1:00, but I guess we'll see.

Anyway, yes. WABC is airing both Jeopardy! and Wheel on a one-day delay this week after all, and it definitely does make more sense to do so, but whether order is mixed or not, having all six episodes for the week counting the Saturday rerun is all that matters to me.

WABC made an announcement about Jeopardy! being delayed on Monday night... but they couldn't be bothered to make a single mention about the same being done for Wheel because apparently Jeopardy! needs to promoted more... Yes, the order of the episodes and skipping episodes doesn't matter as much for Wheel because of no continuity with no champions (although sometimes there will be comments made about "yesterday" or "earlier this week"), but there was no reason for them to only mention one show when two shows were going through scheduling changes. I see it far too often: when both Jeopardy! and Wheel are pre-empted for the same affair, announcements of their makegoods will focus mostly or even entirely on Jeopardy!, even if Wheel's makegood airs right before or after Jeopardy!'s. Also, when stations delay any game show, especially one as popular as Wheel, fans might discuss the show with friends who live in other markets and one might say, "Wait a minute, that's not the episode I saw here in my city."

But whatever. Like I said, I much prefer either weekend delays or one-day delays as opposed to overnight airings or just skipping episodes.

well this weekends FOX optional sports programming is just Saturday

2002 WS Game 6 (Anaheim/San Fran) at 11 CDT
1995 NFC Championship (Dallas/San Fran) at 2

Sunday is national programming at 2 (NASCAR prerace) and 2:30 the race from Darlington LIVE!!!

Wow, and I thought NASCAR wasn't starting back up until Charlotte's Coca-Cola 600. No fans of course, but we'll take any LIVE sports we can get. It can only get better. :)

I hope so. A second wave of COVID equal to or worse than the first could shut everything right back down, which might be worse, especially psychologically.

NASCAR has 3 races in the next week
Sunday cup race on FOX
Tuesday Xfinity on FS1
Wednesday Cup race on FS1

This weekend's race is going to be so stupid. I heard on the radio this morning that stupid FOX Sports is going to be using computer graphics to make it appear that there are people in the stands and also create "crowd" noise.

I thought that plan was for the NFL this fall.

Not surprised they will try and put 'canned' audience sounds in the broadcast. Hopefully this will clear out in the coming weeks/months and NASCAR will let fans in, albeit with 25-50% capacity limits.

WNYW has infomercials until the movie "Must Love Dogs" at 1:00, then the NFC game.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the other sports go that route. The NFL, as mentioned by Don CT, is reportedly considering it, and MLB, NBA and NHL, should they restart, must be, too. There's already been blowback from purists calling the idea even worse names than "so stupid." Try "fraudulent." Comparisons will surely be made to WWE, which was "sweetening" crowd noise way back in the '80s. But, with a couple of isolated exceptions, no American broadcaster has ever had to broadcast legitimate big-league sporting events from empty venues. With a vaccine still a question of "if" as well as "when," the networks and team TV outlets are facing an extended period of such telecasts.

Maybe by starting the fakery from the outset, they'll be able to gauge viewer reaction. Will sports-starved fans take what they consider to be the moral high ground and resist watching competitive races or games with dubbed-in crowd noise and thousands of pixel-people in the empty stands? I won't. I want baseball and hockey soon and football in the fall, on my screen, however the audio and video are manipulated, so long as the manipulation has no effect on the competition.

When the stadiums reopen to the public I heard they're going to leave 1-2 empty seats in-between each person. I understand the need for social distancing, but damn. Most people go to a sporting event with one or more friends or one or more family members. How are you supposed to talk to you friends or family members about the sporting event when there are 1-2 empty seats between each person?

You don't. You shut up and watch the damn game or stay home.

Minneapolis KMSP is showing paid programs then their normal programming at 3

Interesting looking at next week and they ARE carrying the MLB game at 11am....only reason is its because its game 7 of 1991 series (Twins and Braves)

WHBQ in Memphis showed Infomercials instead of the baseball replay, but they're carrying the football replay today. WJKT in Jackson, TN carried both. I'd take it that the NASCAR race tomorrow won't be "optional".

I was right. WABC aired Ken's last episode (November 30, 2004) today, meaning the Saturday rerun (November 1, 2018) will air tomorrow.
