They preempted that for this?

Did Pittsburgh lose LAST WEEK or are you spouting off something that isn't true??

I say that because LAST I CHECKED the Steelers were 11-0
your internet must be a week behind. Washington beat Pittsburgh on Monday 23-17 making Pittsburgh 11-1

Jeeper WAS CORRECT. He was originally ASKING about the Steelers' status BEFORE THE GAME with the Washington FOOTBALL TEAM, which was shown ONLY in a few SECTIONS of the country. I hope I've GOTTEN MY POINT, which I believe was ALSO HIS, across more EFFECTIVELY by capitalizing as MANY words as possible.

Since today's CBS College Football game was scheduled from 3:00-6:30 instead of the usual 3:30-7:00, this was the first time since pre-CFB season that the East Coast got CBS Weekend news. Since postgame ran it a bit over, of course, an abbreviated 20-minute version ran from 6:40-7:00 for the East.

Meanwhile, WCBS decided to put two infomercials instead of Inside Edition Weekend and one infomercial, even though it wouldn't be JIP'd this time. Similarly, WROC in Rochester replaced Wheel of Fortune at 7:00 (normally always JIP'd or skipped) with an infomercial for a local kitchen & bath store.

Hoping that by the time CBS loses the SEC, that if they haven’t acquired another college football conference package, that WBTV has something besides infomercials in the Saturday 7:00 slot but I doubt it though.

I hope that when CBS loses the SEC that they will get a deal with more than one conference and go to having more Saturday night college games like ABC and Fox, and do away with trying to schedule local programming in the7-8 PM block on Saturday nights.

a word of warning: The Simpsons could be late tonight. There are 2 close games right now. Make that 3.
huh? New FOX primetime doesnt start until 7 CST.

edit: and with 26 minutes to go to top of hour 2 of the 3 games are done
edit 2: and with 17 minutes to go all late games are done

crisis averted

8 years ago to this day NBC pulled the plug on a Blake Shelton Xmas special and replaced it with Michael buble, meanwhile at CBS.... Rudolph is still on??????? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Funny he should object to the "de-59ing" of WCTX when WVIT, in the same market, mentions neither cable position (4 on most systems) or traditional channel number (30), choosing the branding of "NBC Connecticut."
I do remember the NBC30 Branding

Huh? Did you watch? They had a huge stage out in front of the tree, most of the performances were live, and a lot of the musicians were wearing masks. I think the Dolly was pre-recorded, and a few others were from other locations, but the majority of the show was in front of the tree. I thought it was funny that the statue of Atlas above the rink was wearing a mask.
The tolmachevy sisters sang little drummer boy without a face mask and without a jacket and with a MAGA hat

Yeah, I checked. I got worried as I fast-forwarded through what was supposedly "The OT" and the end of it was not a game, and the shows started on time.

Biden spoke for most of the 7:30 EST slot (WABC cut in right after "WHEEL!...") . ABC and NBC returned to programming around 7:49, CBS and FOX around 7:55.

KTVT Dallas (CBS O&O) re-aired tonight's Wheel of Fortune on indie sister KTXA at 7:30 Central, replacing Who Wants to be a Millionaire (perpetual rerun feed put out as a de-facto replacement for Cops).

EDIT: FOX coverage was optional. WBFF Baltimore aired Wheel uninterrupted, but with a crawl. WTXF in Philly aired the full coverage, interrupting most of TMZ.

The stations in Connecticut blew out programming today due "snow storm" coverage.
All for a storm that underperformed the predictions significantly. I can only imagine the coverage in places like Binghamton, that got close to 40 inches, or central New Hampshire, where some places got close to 30. My brother in White River Junction, VT, reports 24 there, but that area is in a TV coverage hole -- a mention on WMUR and the Burlington/Plattsburgh stations but nothing close to wall-to-wall coverage.
