They preempted that for this?

CBS Daytime Update
Update: There was a draw procedure held on March 18, 2022, to determine the participants in the quarterfinals of the "UEFA Champions League" soccer tournament.

Quarterfinals dates:
Tues. April 5, Wed. April 6, Tues. April 12, and Wed. April 13.
It looks like there will be the same broadcast method as before --
Two simultaneous matches on each of those four dates.
On each of those four dates, one will air live on CBS broadcast television.

Same times as February/March, but now in Daylight(Summer) time.
Match at 3:00 PM Eastern USA Daylight Time,
(8:00 PM British Summer Time,
or 9:00 PM Central European Summer Time).
with pregame show at 2:00 PM Eastern USA Daylight Time.

The TV listings show one or both CBS soaps preempted in Mountain/Pacific/Alaska/Hawaii timezones on those dates.
None of the local stations (yet) show overnight broadcast of the episodes, but perhaps the TV listings will be updated later with that info.

(The soaps in Arizona and Hawaii may be affected differently in April than they were in February/March, because AZ and HI don't use Daylight Saving Time)

CBS live soccer coverage
Pre-game show 2:00-3:00 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight)
Soccer match 3:00-5:00 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight)
Total of three hours of live programming.
Tues. April 5, Wed. April 6, Tues. April 12, Wed. April 13.
(2pm-5pm EDT Eastern Daylight)
(1pm-4pm CDT Central Daylight)
(Noon-3pm MDT Mountain Daylight)
(11am-2pm MST Arizona Mountain Standard Time)
(11am-2pm PDT Pacific Daylight)
(10am-1pm AKDT Alaska Daylight)
(8am-11am HST Hawaii Standard Time)

Check your local listings for both B&B and Y&R for the affected dates. You may need to watch overnight, on a sister channel, or online.
This is only for CBS broadcasts in western timezones.
Canadian channels are unaffected.

I'm going to ask Nelson. I don't know whether "The Neighborhood" or "Bob Hearts Abishola" are new tonight, but it has been my experience that dating back to when all the games were on CBS, WFMY and WBTV used to pre-empt whatever was on before the game for a special about the game because an NC team might be in it. This year that team is UNC. I really feel bad for Coach K getting beat twice by the, first in his last home game and then in the last game of his career.

Just now seeing this, yeah I believe they were reruns. As a UNC fan I didn’t feel bad for Coach K at all but we couldn’t get it done against Kansas, but still a great run as an 8 seed.

Charlotte FC hosted Atlanta on Sunday on ABC, so WAXN had a normal Saturday schedule yesterday. This coming Saturday they have the same schedule they did on the 2nd as CFC plays at 7:30 again. The following Saturday the 23RD they play at Colorado at 9. With the pregame show beginning at 8:30, that bumps the 8:30 Goldbergs episode up to 4:30 pm. (And it’s actually the episode that would’ve aired at 8:30, “Fonzie Scheme”). It will actually air before “Dynamic Duo” that day even though “Dynamic Duo” comes first sequentially. Seinfeld will air at 11 and 11:30pm after the game on the 23RD. (really 11:05 and 11:35). The 4:30 Goldbergs airings have displaced one run of “Impractical Jokers” which still have aired at 4. “Justice Rules” hasn’t been airing at all when CFC has forced rescheduling of King of Queens, Goldbergs and Seinfeld.

KMGH in Denver is preempting ABC primetime tonight, which consists of the premiere of Jumanji: The Next Level & a repeat episode of Abbott Elementary to air a 2-hour Denver Broncos special from 8-10PM on HoF Denver Broncos Safety Steve Atwater. To fill the first hour of primetime, Denver 7 is airing 2 Family Feud episodes. The movie gets bumped to 2:03-4:30AM.

Wait a second, ABC itself is delaying Grey's Anatomy? For the second week in a row? With a repeat TV show and a movie that aired three years ago? (Albeit, a really fun movie :)) KMGH is almost doing the public a service here. Atwater was awesome!

I'm so glad this happened and that you posted it. I had no reason to check to see if a movie was airing.

KCCI 8 in Des Moines is preempting NCIS Saturday at 7pm for Forecasting Our Weather Special Report.
That appears to be a Hearst special airing on all their stations this weekend as WCVB in Boston is preempting America's Funniest Home Videos on Sunday at 7 to air it. WBAL in B'more is also airing it, but won't preempt NBC primetime as it airs Saturday evening at 7.

Next week Big Bang Theory gets displaced from 7:30 on WJZY Tuesday through Friday. 😳 Tuesday for a US Senate Debate that also displaces Young Sheldon from 7pm. BBT and Young Sheldon will air at 2 and 2:30 which preempts WJZY’s run of Judge Mathis but that still airs on WMYT at 5. (WJZY used to preempt TMZ Live when BBT and YS/TMZ were displaced from 7 and 7:30 but it no longer airs on WJZY, only WMYT). Anywho NFL draft specials air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30 on WJZY. I just checked zap2it again and BBT airs at 2 on Wednesday and at 11:30pm on Thursday and Friday. Extra airs at 2:30pm Wednesday, as it is displaced from 11:30pm due to a “Pick Is In” special that night.

Inside Edition and Entertainment Tonight will be on WAXN at 8 and 8:30 on Thursday, the 28th, due to an NFL Draft special on WSOC and WAXN at 7.
