In addition to preempting the first game of the NHL afternoon doubleheader, Seattle/Philadelphia, (They've been doing this a lot in the early Saturday afternoons recently airing E/I nature programs instead with them loading up on news earlier in the morning, imagine the furor if they preempt a game that's meaningful to the Florida Panthers), WPLG (ABC/Miami) is preempting America's Funniest Home Videos tomorrow night at 7 for a special on the Calle Ocho festival.
Scripps Phoenix has been preempting Antenna TV on KNXV/15.2 for the Big Sky Conference men's and women's basketball tournaments since Saturday. I have to guess that other Scripps-owned stations in Big Sky territory are also airing the games.
The men will continue thru Monday, while the women will continue thru Tuesday. The women's championship will be on ESPNU, while the men's championship will be on ESPN2. All games air on ESPN+.

Assume so. In Montana it’s on the MTN subchannel that also shows Vegas and Utah NHL games (the -2 on the scrips owned CBS and 1 NBC station)
That is true. Here in Denver it is on Scripts owned KCDO independent station. Looks like there is one more game at 12 pm tomorrow that they will be showing.

KDFI More 27 in Dallas will be preempting programing on March 20, April 3 & April 10 and their sister station KDFW Fox 4 will preempt Fox programming on March 24 as they have picked up 4 regular season Dallas Stars home games as the Stars are trying to lock in a spot in the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
KDFI will air the March 20th game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, April 3rd game against the Nashville Predators and the April 10th game against the Winnipeg Jets and KDFW airs the March 24th game against the Minnesota Wild. all games will still stream on Victory+.

I would of never of noticed this but on WOI 5 in Des Moines IA Sunday March 16 before America's Funniest Home Videos it always records the past few minutes of ABC News and it says ABC News in the info but it was not on. They actually pre-empted ABC News for Daily Blast Live which use to be on the channel last year but was cancelled.
Thought it was interesting that they would pre-empt the ABC News for a show that was canceled 9 months ago.

Iowa does the same for high school basketball and carries college wrestling. They carry both.
Nebraska has a Nebraska/Minnesota softball game tomorrow on PBS per the listings.
PBS in Iowa airs High School Basketball and Volleyball and Softball games every year. They air High School boys wrestling on KDSM Fox 17 but most of the other High School Sports airs on Iowa PBS now.
Here in Tennessee, up until about 5 or 6 years ago, all the PBS stations in the state (WNPT Nashville, WKNO Memphis, WLJT Lexington/Martin/Jackson, WCTE Cookeville, WTCI Chattanooga, and WKOP/WETP Knoxville/Tri-Cities) would air the state football and basketball championships. Now they are all on mostly Sinclair or Gray owned stations across the state.

Those are starting to get few and far between these days because of the OVC's deal with ESPN+
tonight at 9 pm KWGN in Denver is pre-empting a Trivial Pursuit rerun for a special called The Next Generation: Breaking Fentanyl's Grip. I imagine KDVR will also be showing the special sometime soon as well. I am sure other Nexstar stations around the country will show this as well.
WHO 13 in Des Moines IA is showing this Saturday March 29th at 6pm pre-empting the 6pm News and Wheel of Fortune.
