They preempted that for this?

To the Wheel watchers living in the Boston market, tonight's episode of Wheel will be airing on WBZ early Saturday at 1:37am. This is the first time in a long time that WBZ aired WoF late at night and also the first Seacrest era episode to air very early in the morning in the Boston area.

Tonight, big changes are in the air as the Dolphins take on the Steelers on ESPN/MNF (WFOR and WTAE),
WBFS (CW), Miami will run CBS primetime programs (FBI, Watson) and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, followed by A California Christmas on CW
WTAE (ABC), Pittsburgh: Not airing ABC primetime programming (Celebrity Family Feud and the $100,000 Pyramid) at all due to a local pregame and postgame show.

Last night some tournament bumped "Celebrity Family Feud" on WSOC-TV in Charlotte. I had made sure I was going to record it once I saw it advertised, and it's a good thing I did since I noticed it wasn't listed. I recorded it off an antenna that seemed to be giving me satisfactory results. That station almost never pre-empts ABC programming but it did so during the Kimmel controversy.

Because of WSOC-TV being notorious for pre-empting, I actually recorded all my ABC programs from the other station the entire summer of 2009 until my first experience with interference.
Episode was repeated last night and did air in Charlotte.

Rams-Seahawks will air on KTTV in LA and KCPQ in Seattle on Thursday.

KTTV: Pregame at 4:30, TMZ Live cut down to 30 minutes, Extra and TMZ preempted, Post game at 8pm, Next Level Baker bumped to 8:30pm
KCPQ: Gameday on Fox 13 airs 8-10pm, Next Level Baker bumped to 11pm, TMZ at 7:30, 25 Words or Less and Equal Justice With Judge Eboni K. Williams preempted

WXMI Fox17 on Fri took Fox2 Detroit as Extra was on and not Access Hollywood, must've been a feed issue or something but it was fixed at around 7:40PM and Access Hollywood was on.

ABC has 5 NBA games today, so no news on any ABC station today. I don't think it's a Hornets game on WSOC, all games are ABC today.
yes, and the Mavs were one of the games today, and WFAA aired that game as part of the ABC block and the ABC/ESPN crew and not "In house" with the Mavs TV/WFAA/KFAA crew, since this is the second season of Mavs TV on WFAA/KFAA for home games outside of the ESPN/ABC games.

I can't help but wonder if right about now there's at least one angry caller to the CBS switchboard asking "where is my 60 Minutes?" Wondering why CBS is airing the Golden Globes red carpet show instead. "I don't want to see a red carpet, I want to hear my tick, tick, tick, tick."

WOWT here in Omaha is preempting 2 hours of the NBC prime time schedule (maybe more, maybe less, who knows) (also it’s new episodes of Happy’s Place, Stumble, and half of Dateline) tonight to simulcast a LOVB Nebraska game against Madison that’s also being streamed on Victory+. This is ironic because the Omaha Supernovas game against the Atlanta Vibe is being broadcast on the lesser-known News Channel Nebraska. Volleyball night in Nebraska it seems.

Oh, and the same also applied to KNOP and KSNB, all Gray stations in Nebraska (with WOWT), despite WOWT not being associated with the 2, part of the Nebraska News and Weather Network.
