They preempted that for this?

With women’s basketball on Fox and NBA on NBC tomorrow (Monday) syndicated stuff will either be pre-emptied or moved to late nights
Women’s bball is on from 11-6 Central
NBA is from 1-10

The one show that doesn’t show yet which time and I care about is Jeopardy. It’s on my local NBC at 5pm. Wheel is on CBS at 6:30
My market (Mankato, MN) GrayTV owns all the local nets (CBS, NBC and Fox. No ABC in market) so they can move programming between them on late nights.

"Jeopardy" and I assume "Wheel" weren't on in Charlotte. My cable system has another station that airs the show and I also record with an antenna, though results are not guaranteed with that.

so this morning (Tuesday) at 8am on FOX (they carry the rerun Jeopardy) showed missed Monday's show.....yet the actual (new) show that NBC has here in Mankato they haven't shown yet??? I think its on at like Midnight Wednesday night on FOX (all stations are owned by gray so they move stuff around on days like that)

This coming Thursday KEYC CBS Mankato preempting the reruns for a MN Wild hockey game. First one they are carrying (out of 4)
The programming moves to 1:37am

Friday night in Minneapolis, MN the MN Gopher hockey game is on KMSP Fox 9. The scheduled basketball game moves to co-owned WFTC FOX 9+
Saturdays game that starts at 6PM is also on FOX. The basketball games move to Fox9+

Last night WSOC-TV had some kind of news special. Not about the weather, but it appeared it was about finance. "9-1-1" was not a rerun, according to the recording I made with an antenna. I don't remember why I have a DVR set to record ABC every Thursday at 8, but I do. I did the other recording to see if the episode was new. The listings didn't tell me until I actually made the recording.

Last night a rerun of "Saturday Night Live" may not have aired on WCNC-TV in Charlotte. I just checked to make sure it was the one listed and got a newscast focusing on the weather, an hour before the 11:00 news. I didn't watch all of the recording so I don't know how long it was. The new episode of "Saturday night Live" appeared to have aired as usual.

WCCB wasn't supposed to have the 6:00 news but what I was told recorded was a home hockey game. Yeah, no one's going to be able to make it to the arena. So that game wasn't played last night and I got to see a newscast.

With the Suns playing at Portland in the late NBC slot tonight at 9 MT, KPNX (Phoenix) will fill 2 hours of primetime after 12 News at 6 with a one-hour Winter Olympic special from 7-8, followed by 12Sports Locker Room from 8-9. The game will also air on KPHO (CBS) due to KTVK airing GCU basketball at 7, it'll bump repeats of NCIS & NCIS Origins to Midnight-2AM & Colbert to 2-3:02AM. Harlan Coben's Final Twist will air at 7 followed by An Arizona's Family Original with Yetta Gibson at 8 then Suns Pregame at 8:30 with Postgame after the game, no late newscast on CBS5.

Because of the 2026 Winter Olympics on WHO 13 (NBC) in Des Moines will be airing The Olympic Zone at 6:30pm. Wheel of Fortune will air at 3:30am while the new episode of Jeopardy that airs at 3:30pm will air at 3am for the next two weeks.

I haven't recorded any episodes of "Jeopardy" from WCNC-TV Charlotte all week. I think I have what is called a "One Pass" which will record the show whenever it airs. I have a manual recording at the time the show airs each night which has been a newscast instead. Don't know what has happened with "Wheel". It is a tournament which means it will likely be repeated but I don't imagine people are happy.

WFMY Greensboro is on my cable system and I also get it with an antenna but with less than ideal results.

Is it a NBC affiliate. If so they probably replaced Jeopardy for now with an extra newscast. Where I live Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune air at 3am-4am due to the Olympic Zone which is hosted by the sports News anchor of my NBC affiliate in Des Moines.

lots of delays this week in various Minnesota markets
Wednesday and Thursday in Duluth...WDIO ABC is carrying the finals of high school hockey sections. Its BIG in Northeastern MN. That pushes ABC programming to late night but Wednesdays they will be showing it on WDIO-DT2 MeTV (which is in HD so no biggie there)

Friday in Minneapolis, Rochester, Duluth and Mankato they will be showing MN Wild hockey on local TV. Minneapolis (KSTP ABC), Rochester (KAAL ABC) and Duluth (WDIO ABC) will be pre-empting 20/20 (game starts at 8pm) and moving that to overnight (all MN licensed ABC stations owned by Hubbard). Mankato KEYC CBS will be pre-empting all prime time (they are showing the pregame and a local sports program) and moving it to 1:35am Saturday morning.

Kind of cool the game airs on OTA TV.

Is Nashville the only market preempting NBA Showtime for the local news before the NBA on NBC games? Only the season opener and maybe one other time we got to see the pregame here.
