Hello,
We own a LPFM radio station that became short spaced when a commercial radio station upgraded their coverage. to clear all separations We had to move 6 miles away from our community of license and we are receiving interference from 2 co-channel stations. We are trying to move our station but there are over 10 pending translators applications from the 2003 translator invasion that will not allow us to move with our frequency plus the full power station that we need to protect. The only two things we found was a frequency that can be used in our current location but we are still going to have the same issue of distance. And another channel that didn't have any problems with translators but it will be a third adjacent channel from a full power station. I know that there is a plan for removing the third adjacent channel restrictions but there is no time frame on that. Do you think that a third adjacent channel waiver can be granted? Have you seen any lpfm with one of them?
Thanks in advance!
