This is what I'd like 103.5/104.3 to be

Dawg4life, I agree with you 200000%! :D

It would be great to have a dance station. I think it would be even a match for WNCI if one came about. I currently listen to BPM and Electric on Sirius everyday. However, I think if a dance station came about we would need to have a better format than what Sirius has. Maybe a mix of BPM and Electric on one. I think that would be very powerful here in Columbus.

I listen to both of those channels on Sirius as well in my new car. When I'm in my old car I have my iPhone hooked up to the radio so I can listen to streaming radio. I get my fix regardless but it sure would be nice to finally have a decent radio station in town that played dance music.

Although I do like Rewind, I would love the Rhythmic AC format on 1035/1043, hell even 1039! That station along with Wink is going nowhere fast. That's what happens when you have a PD who wants the format there, where ratings aren't really cared about.

I think a dance-leaning CHR would work well. My online station, RDL101.com is an example of what I'd like to bring to Columbus. Rhythmic is something we don't have. We have a decent Urban (now with Big Bink as PD), a decent CHR (but way too conservative), an adult CHR (that needs updating), and tons of rock, country, and oldies. Rhythmic would do magic if done right. Columbus has a large gay and latino population.
