Maybe you could clarify something for me...
...when you talk about the "creative" aspect of JACK are you refering to the original concept? By that, I mean the original idea behind broadening the playlist and interspersing the snarky (!!!) guy?
I personally have no problem passing along kudos for that.
I just question the "creativity" behind the everyday to day operation of the Infinity JACKs and why some people seem to think it's different than "cookie-cutter" radio.
Case in point... if you go to Chicago's JACK website, you'll notice they're giving away tickets to a concert that happened a month ago. LA is running a contest that you can't win because they don't do contests. NYC's JACK has the same banner ads as the rest of Infinity NYC and the same public affairs shows. Kevin C. is still basically a liner card reader (albeit a well paid one) and the station still has a playlist (broad as it may be).
I'm just looking for what you might think diferentiates JACK from whatever others might define as "cookie-cutter"...
