Am I missing something here? I thought KCWX had This TV on their subchannel for a while now. Has something changed?

fredcantu said:KCWX and This TV are on the air on RF 5. What makes it hard to pickup in Austin is that you have to swing your antenna toward Fredericksburg and it's the only station out there. So you're constantly swinging away. I wouldn't hold out much hope for the in-town LPTV repeater. KBVO has one in Austin on RF 51 that I have never picked up. I believe they have just enough signal to provide over the air coverage to Time Warner's cable head end. KCWX's in-town repeater will probably perform the same function.

Aren't they the only Austin-area station on VHF-Lo (RF channels 2-6)? If so, couldn't you just combine signals from two antennas with something like this?

My 1987 Canon VR-HF800 VCR already does this, but it is in my apartment and that means NO OUTSIDE ANTENNA'S![]()
