As for her use of a racial slur, she was not even close to being on topic, well maybe half right.
It is my opinion, as someone who worked with people of color every day for many years the N word with ER on the end is a racial slur, and the word that starts with an N has an I and ends with two G's and an A, is used in the community as a term of endearment, among other things. I hear people of different racial and ethnic backgrounds call people in their own racial or ethnic group names all the time that if I used I would be accused of making a slur.
Did she confuse the 2 words, maybe, but there are also comedians such as Richard Pryor who used the ER word in his act constantly, but in the context of a commentary or humor.
I think her act got stale back in the Regan era sometime.
