"Guess what's in my pocket?" wasnt that bad because his slutty sidechick is the one who had to reach in the pocket. Her purring whiledoing it wasn't that bad. But of course what did she find................ you guessed it wood. Which then led to a quick discussion on morning wood. It got risque a tad and then moved forward. Pretty pathetic but I guess I have to wait 2 weeks to form that opinion.
 
I know that Stern has never been on in Atlanta, but I think that his constant use of BaBa Booey was way too obvious a rip off. How about a little originality!?

Also, wtf with the laugh track!?!?
 
And this is what market 9 radio has to offer these days? Well, I guess some guys are into S&M and getting their butts whipped by some scary chick wearing tight leather (hey, that doesn't sound too bad, either)............... I'm into radio.
 
The thought that anyone would actually cut any slack for making third grade board mistakes and being unprepared/unscripted
or "feeling his way" around his slutty co-host is proof that we've all been lulled into submission by con-sultants, psuedo-programmers and pinhead bean counters attempting to save a few bucks and lowering the water in the cesspool known as corporate wastio. Hey ya get what you pay for. This station is one project that should have never been built. Absolutely
the dumbest moves ever and the de-construction continues. Sorry, Atlanta deserves a lot better. Give them til Friday...

I checked the website-there are no pistures of the new slutty girl....at least the morning show slutty girl. There are lots of other slutty girl pics. Remember....this is the Howard Stern formula. Sex, sex, sex, hookers, strippers, sex, sex, sex, blah, blah, sex. Can't blame Biggy Giant for doin' what works...
 
It's Wednesday 8/8, and I've been listening to The Project since 5:30 am, and have yet to hear what everyone is b*&^%ing about.
As a matter of fact, I haven't heard anything at all. Did they fire the guy already????? ??? ??? ???

Maybe Neil Millman is holding them hostage....

As someone who has worked in media for quite a few years here in Atlanta I can confirm what others on the board have already said. "What flies up north, ain't gonna fly down here in dixie"! As a New Yorker in exile I fould that out the hard way... :-\

Perrynoid, and Brian will find that fact out soon enough. It's the same reason your beloved Fred Toucher left, and the same reason he probably won't be back.

Right now Giant Brian is throwing Bologna slices on the slutty sidekick chicks ass. This bit seem way too familiar.....yawn.
 
I am still trying to figure out the deal with the laugh track. The show is becoming a mix of real bad Howard Stern mixed with Bob and Tom. I had to laugh though when they threw it to traffic and said Art Man-Man MEE-Ring. At least learn you co-workers names. This of course let into the obligatory remark by Perrynoid that there would be less traffic if everyone didn't drive pick-ups and monster trucks. He said that the average household in atlanta has 1.7 pick-up trucks.

I am confused at what audience they are going after or do they think being outrageous will just pull in listeners.

BTW, the slutty sidechick's slight southern drawl is the only thing bringing me back for more.
 
Missed the morning show [Damn!] Do the scripted bits mean Korn's "Coming Undone" and Disturbed's "Stricken" will be played only 20 times a day instead of the usual 30?

I know! Enough with both of these songs! The Buzz started playing "Stricken" back around Sept. 2005 and "Coming Undone" around Dec. 2005 and haven't ever let up on the Project. To me the heavy airplay of the recurrents is one of the biggest turnoffs with this station. Sometimes I prefer 99X just because it is not as repetitious. On The Project I enjoy hearing the Classic Rock, 90's Rock and New Rock but I don't really care about 2005 Rock at this point...maybe in 5 years I may if Project doesn't ruin these songs for good.

Didn't catch any of the morning show. Turned on 96.1 at 9:30am and I just heard "Stricken" and such. Anyone have any idea when the morning show cut off?
 
Brilliant thread. The show's not even on the air, and Chris Williams y interns are generating fake buzz, at least amongst radio dorks. Whoops, I mean fake Project.

Although, the bologna idea is probably on target. I bet her name will be Sindy, with an "S".
 
Cold meat hitting slutty intern flesh just plain 'ol excites me.
I listened for a few minutes this AM, between 9-9:30, and heard nothing but traffic.
At least they could have served doughnuts......

If this is the best "buzz" that Williams et al. can generate, then it's obvious why they work at Clear Channel.

Oh come on do I seem like a Chris Williams shill. If I was I think I would have been way more positive but I do wish they add a slutty sidechick. I just fed off the silly hype of this show. No one ever stated the show started 8/6 yet people were clamoring for reviews the first day. If I didn't make those statement ssomeone else would have if the show went live. I will give any show at least a month before I criticize.

So lighten up Frances.
