Any general comments the news format and programming on KYW-AM 1060?

Yes, Pat Farnack who was on KYW and now at WCBS and Earle Bailey formerly of WMMR and now on Sirius XM Deep Tracks. It was a good news alternative to KYW but it did not dent KYW.kenneykop said:Yeah WWDB flipping formats the day of the 2000 presidential election that wasn't decided until a month later...They were really committed to that morning news format..If I recall they had some really good people on it..Pat Farnack, Earl Bailey, etc.

Or, alternately, another FM station in Philly can do a format with traffic every ten minutes around the clock. It could be another all-newser, or it could be like NJ 101.5's weekday or weekend format. I don't care as long as I can hear a traffic report clearly when I'm on the road.
Curious to hear from other people: Is it just my car's radio, or do other people find that KYW completely disappears due to static in center city Philly when travelling through certain areas?
