It is not the lack of quality, it is the lack of entertainment. The 12-24 year olds are finding their music in all types of places. The record industry no longer looks solely upon radio to break hits. Check out My Space, You Tube, or network televison. CHR will survive, if the stations remain local, and offer more then just music. They must become the social forums of the airwaves. Kids would rather hear an hour on fashion tips or "TMZ" gossip, in addition to the latest hit by Kelly Clarkson. It is time for the people on these boards to understand what radio needs to become in 2008. It is so boring to read about PD's who ruined your lives. Make these blogs informative and be innovative. You might find yourselves back in a business that needs trailblazers.
