Tom Chiusano To Step Down From K-Rock

Active Rock is the best format you can get. classic rock stations get boring, modern rock stations get annoying, Active Rock is the best because you got all of todays hard rock and metal music, and you can still hear the good classics as well, without changing the station. and mainstream stations suck because theres too much ------ rock like hinder and slower nickleback and slower daughtry, an no system of a down korn of tool

I'm willing to bet you have no money. What's $3.50 a gallon like? I don't know I live in the city.

Proof active rock fans have no money and they are a bad target.

Alt's the way to go...

*groan*. How is alt the way to go? You constantly hit on this fact using very specific and trendy sections of Brooklyn.

Alt is NOT the way to go, because people who have disposable income in those trendy areas DON'T LIKE THE MAINSTREAM. They are listening to their own music via Ipod or Satellite so they don't have to deal with long breaks. And the problem with catering a radio station that is very non-mainstream is because there is no revenue. See the catch-22?

You can't be ultra-trendy and appeal to money demographics. It doesn't work.

As much as it'll turn your stomach to hear this, Country has a lot more disposable income demographics that the ones you're constantly harping on. Plus, I'm getting really f'n insulted by your constant (and wrong) insinuation that people who like active rock have no money.
