You know, the funniest thing about the above quotes is that compared to NewsTalkJunkie and WhatDoIKnow, I RARELY post anything on this board. These two seem to have UNLIMITED time to browse and post...I do so only rarely, yet when I do, somehow my posts (admittedly critical of Grumpy and his 0.6 share) are labeled "an unproductive use of time" while their endless, droning on and on posting over and over again on every thread on the board is somehow more worthy of bandwidth. Pretty funny!

And as far as the "shining Hannity's shoes" thing...I can only say that I have the BEST job in radio I could have ever imagined in my almost 20 years in the business. My job is so rewarding and fun, that I almost think I'm dreaming every day. I have worked in the 2 biggest markets..currently in Market #1, and my track record is one of one success after another. I am very good friends and work every single day with the greatest and most successful people in the entire business of radio...and I earn more money than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams when I started as an INTERN in this business.

If there are people on this board who are bitter, jealous, regretful, or just plain unhappy...than I TRULY feel sorry for them.

Since I worked with you back in those intern days, I have watched and admired your rise in the business. And you are right about some of the posters on this board, it is the same bitter people who cannot understand or respect other peoples success.

Well . . . It always makes my heart warm to see folks that have found their dream job and are surrounded really good folks to work with. This is especially true based on what has gone on in radio in this town recently. Treasure your career decisions and work-mates, not everyone is as lucky as us.

Methinks you read too much in my post; I simply find your regular criticism of Grumpy amusing. Just curious, care to elaborate why you have sour grapes for Tom Hughes?

IN MEMORIAM

Jill Stanislawsky passed away on August 29, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. Jill moved to Los Angeles after obtaining her law degree from Georgia State in 1998. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis a few years ago and has struggled with her health ever since.


I remember those days . . . Some very good radio. Is this the same Ms. Stanislawsky?

Anyone who can call Wach's Baron and the other what's his name geinuine air personalities, shows us all exactly how far down the shoot this business has fallen in such a short time....

As for personalities, Hughes and Holeman were better than the regular guys before the regular guys, and did it without using cheap toilet humor.
