Traffic.com is leaving the building

Well said Mike. You and I were co-workers and actually gave a damn about the product and what was going out, contrary to some others. We DID do a kick ass job... we had persons on the team who were good with working the beat calls, checking info, and even a couple scanner nuts and hobbyists (like myself) that knew exactly what to listen for, and could tune out all the extraneous BS... The WBAP/KSCS team was the best on the air during those days... Me, Laura, and Monty, and Michael Scott in the morning... then as the years went by.... you, Randy, Laura, Monty, and Michael... We rocked the house with our coverage and traffic info. I truly miss those days. Some great memories. It was a sad day when the choppers were silenced... all in the name of the allmighty consolidation and el cheapo-ness...

WBAP reporter (1998-2005)
