I'd have to look at the ratings, and cost of production. If the two work well enough together, along with ANY free advertising for another global property, anything from passengers(extras) reading National post(Global owns them) to an ad in the background for global programming.
When the show first launched, I duely noted the ads for Fido in the background, and the tv ads that also aired, so they had a good idea for a joint venture there, and many free plugs for their other networks.
Heck, they even had Anwire Knight, a global weather person on the show. IF that wasn't a reminder to watch global for weather updates...what is?
Good idea, but Global has new plans I guess.
As long as is isn't reruns of BoB and Margaret, I guess I'll be happy.
