They just inducted Jack O'Shea into the West Virginia Broadcasting Hall of Fame last month in Huntington.

I worked with him when they split WKEE/AM & FM apart and programmed country on the AM (800). Needless to say he was not excited after being one of the most popular Top 40 DJ's in the Tri-State for so long on the "Big 80".

Do you recall WCMI (my preference over WKEE) when they were Top 40? Remember DJ's like "Tricky Ricky Cool"? I loved that station - reverb and all!!
Listening to radio in the late 60's in Huntington (WKEE, WCMI, WWHY, etc.) as a kid was the reason I wanted to make it my career - lived the dream and moved on. Happy times in the Tri-State.
