Trouble at WRNS?

Same with Cumulus in Fayetteville. I believe I recall hearing around the station that they would flip from Arbitron to Nielson. All the Cumulus stations their are showing the same.

If you look at the rating numbers for Greenville/New Bern/Jacksonville, you will notice a "0.0" next to WRNS
and other stations owned by "NextMedia", it's because they subscribe to a different ratings provider and
explains why.
This doesn't happen in Myrtle Beach.

WOW. NextMedia must have really done something he didn't like... he's been there for 20 years at least.

107.9 though - that's an odd one. I can't imagine him with anything but country music.

Before RNS he did T40 at WYNG in Goldsboro, back in '80-'81.

I think he was PD, or at least MD.

Wow -- Just saw this posting -- I worked at WYNG in Goldsboro in those days -- Who are we talking about?

Really curious about this posting as I was travelling PD for WYNG- Goldsboro and WKBY - Chatham, Va at this time and don't recall this name being on our staff -- There was Jerry Outlaw, Danny Wordsworth, and a few others I cannot recall -- But I don't recognize any of the names mentioned in this thread --
