I know this is a radio bored, but...since many of us are media junkies as well, I throw this
out there, (where it will probably be deleted as being 'off message'). However, I persist:
do the folks at Time Warner Cable know that we, the folks who watch programming via those
magical and somewhat volatile little digi-boxes, that we (the idiots who pay out the eyes to wait 40 seconds for the program to lock after punching up the limited hd content) HAVE REMOTES WITH MUTE BUTTONS!
(not to mention DVR's). Hey TWCINCI, you provide us with DVR'S: (I told you not to mention that...) to spin past that which is an annoyance and get to the less annoying stuff we really want to waste time with. TURN THE AUDIO ON FREAKING LOCAL TIME WARNER SPOTS DOWN!!!
Watching, oh let's just say "the daily show"; commercial break, and the audio is like 50 db increase from
programming content. It's not like this hasn't been done in the analog tv universe for decades, but...guys and gals at twcini...a clue you should get. Not only are the incessant commercials for your suspect product completely lame...not entertaining, clever, or well produced...but they're really, uh LOUD (!). Every local client who runs ads on TWCable: I do not hear a word of what you're trying to promote. MUTE THIS.
