MSNBC will not air “Morning Joe,” its celebrated politics roundtable program, on Monday, opting to instead air continued breaking news coverage of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The progressive news network confirmed the decision to preempt its influential and top-rated morning show after a CNN inquiry Sunday evening. The network said the show will resume airing Tuesday.
I tuned over to Newsmax for a bit around 10 pm EST Saturday night and Greg Kelly was showing the point the shooting happened over and over and putting the blame on the democrats already.
Online fans I'm seeing aren't happy. There's really no more "breaking news" to be had at this point. Investigations will take weeksMSNBC has announced it will pre-empt its regular Morning Joe show on Monday, and instead continue its breaking news coverage of the Trump shooting:

Half right.i was just telling a friend last night, some of the pro trump networks would ignore the fact the shooter was a registered republican and made a donation to a republican cause recently

They did show the baseball game but I don’t know how much of it though. Here in Denver I tuned into KDVR around 7:20 pm Saturday night and they had Fox News coverage on. I don't know if they showed any of the baseball game before that.
It seemed like they showed the actual event several times. I did need to study it because the people in the crowd, unlike those of us watching a recording, did not know what was happening and they had to react. I didn't think they reacted all that quickly considering what was happening, but maybe it wasn't loud enough for them to realize right away.
I wondered why I couldn't see the man who was killed. But what I saw seemed to show a lot of people. The official video of the event really only showed the podium. So you didn't see the wider shot of the bleachers, where the man was killed and the others were injured. They were out of view from that camera. What you also don't see are the secret service snipers on a building behind the podium shooting and killing the assassin. The minute he fired, they fired at him and got him pretty instantly. Otherwise there would have been more deaths.
