TV Land or No TV Land

Nick at Nite and TV Land are where I learned about "Mr Ed" and "Rowan & Martin's Laugh In", great shows that educated my childhood with Television history. Hearing that it's dying is killing a piece of me with it. Sad, sad world.

TV Land quite simply is making obvious its intent and direction with movies that have more to do with the 80's and 90's than the 50's and 60's, not to mention the promos featuring and older man,a middle aged (or younger) gentleman, and a teen ager. Couple all this with ever more evident clues and you have a network for all seasons, people, and demographics. Let TV Land play to the 20-35 crowd. Someone somewhere like Turner will see the void and fill it with truck loads of old shows, all while TV Land goes its merry misguided way.

They don't care about the 45+ demographic, just like radio. So I don't care about them! I haven't watched anything on TV (waste)Land in years.
