TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

It’s a swan song for “Kelly Clarkson”: she’s ending her show after seven seasons.
That will leave a hard to fill gap for many stations. She was very popular with a lot of viewers.

When will Paramount Skydance just sign off MTV already? Ridiculousness gone, Jersey Shore Family Vacation soon gone...let it die with dignity. Cable TV is dying anyway. End its long lifespan with the first few hours of programming from 1981 (music videos and all)...color bars, turn off the transponder.

One gets the impression that Ellison wants to keep MTV around whether we like it or not.

When the cost/benefit ratio no longer works. You can dislike it all you want. Just don’t watch.

It may well be much closer to the end than the beginning of its lifespan. So what? The powers that be have all the P&L statements and aren’t going to just toss away incremental income because some random poster takes issue with something they really don’t have insight into.
