TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

“Ellen” is ending her talk show...
makes sense since she's losing viewers ever since last year's behind the scenes scandal happen. so who replaces her as the queen of Daytime TV talk shows, a title she inherited from Oprah Winfrey after she left Daytime TV.

It’ll be a toss up between Kelly Clarkson and Drew Barrymore, should both decide to return.

That's another big loss for NBC, 'This is Us'. That show has had a big fanbase. Wonder if Justin Hartley will return to soaps...

To touch base on Days of Our Lives, the show has been renewed through 2023:

It seems impossible for the sands in the hourglass to run out! Congrats, NBC.

A long run for a fantastic comedy series comes to an end. Black-ish was a fun show.

That might take away American Housewife's OTA syndication chances.

“SEAL Team” and “Clarice” are moving from CBS to Paramount+
i guess that's a nice way of saying, it's been canceled but given a second chance on a streaming service to finish the shows out or give 'em a second chance with a streaming audience for the sake of saving a show from permanent cancelation, this is gonna be the future of struggling TV shows that get canceled on traditional TV as the transition from fixed time antenna/cableline/satellite dish based broadcast TV to on demand Internet based streaming TV.

"SEAL Team" wasn't struggling.

More pink slips from ABC: “Rebel,” “For Life,” “American Housewife,” and “Mixed-ish”
I've really enjoyed "Mixed-ish". It's not nearly as preachy as "Black-ish" but it has told about a different era like "The Goldbergs". It's intersting to look back and see the era from a different point of view. And unlike "The Goldbergs", events are taking place in a specific year. "The Goldbergs" never mentions the year and any event from the 80s could have taken place at any time during the decade. Whatever needs to happen to make it work for the episode. And if they don't cancel that show soon events will have to be from the 90s.
