TV show reboots never seem as good

And yet they did. And I enjoyed it. Especially the last season when they got rid of that terrible prosecutor.

Loved it! Hated that they cancelled it. It was FAR superior to the blockbuster sitcom. I miss it too.

I watched some of it but stopped watching. Reminded me of New WKRP.
 
I enjoyed the reboot craze when it first started. Fuller House, Girl Meets World and such in the mid-2010s was great. Now it is getting kinda stale.
 
I prefer sequel series to complete remakes. The first attempt of an LA Law sequel series I was looking forward to. Because Steven Bochco and William Finklestein were involved in it. The most recent attempt was a little edgy but I was willing to give it a try. Hate it never came to pass. Hopefully we will see the pilot for that and the Coach sequel series someday.
 
The 'Lost In Space' reboot was too serious and dark, and reimagining the role of Dr. Zachary Smith with Parker Posey was a mistake. Someone with a strong comedic background would have been better, and I wish it had kept the original's fun campy attitude.

As did "The New Gidget" an abysmal reboot of the 60s gem of a series. There's a reason Caryn Richman didn't become the next Sally Field. There were a number of bad reboots in the 80s like "Still the Beaver" and "The New Monkees". Plus there were all the syndicated revivals of network sitcoms like "Too Close For Comfort".

Caryn was still cute. The show was cute.

I wonder where her parents and Whoopi Goldberg's parents came up with that spelling?
