You're right, I did say that you didn't have to agree. That's all. I just came here to talk about how happy I am that the station becoming TV38 again. I sort of thought that I could experience how it is to not hear UPN38, but TV38, which some people loved.
About my age: just because I am not 18 yet, and was five or so when UPN took over, it doesn't mean I am not allowed to speak about it. I did some research on 38. I remember seeing "Ask the Manager" when I was young. How? I remember a bunch of people on a set on "TV38" talking about things on Saturday Morning. Then I did happen to see Dana Hersey specials and shows on YouTube about the show "Cheers", and thought "wow!". You don't see any local do what TV38 did, maybe on occassion.
I also knew they were a Superstation (that's why it's on DISH Network nationally). I knew about the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Celtics. I was around for the Bruins most notably which I believe ended on 38 in 2002. I'm happy SkyNet confirmed that. I only mentioned the sitcom re-runs because they were just part of the whole picture. I didn't feel I had to mention everything.
Garrett, I don't know why you think I'm not open to debate this. I clearly understand and believe in free speech. I support your opinions. I hope we can talk about this and other board topics in a fair and equal manner. I can be firm about things at times, but I guess I get caught up in the moment.
Anyways, good luck to Channel 38 this year and beyond.
